In Simplicity, 'Satellites' is a term used for the method in which content can be added to the site, outside of the 'Page' structure. For example the FAQ's satellite gives you a simple interface to create a dynamic questions and answers block within any page, and reuse this same content in many sections. The News satellites allow placement of existing news headlines around the site to get the most recent, most relevant news to the most relevant place.
